Join our exciting tour of the enchanting lands of Kashmir and Zanskar, offering a perfect blend of natural beauty, culture, and adventure. This tour is for photography enthusiasts who want to capture stunning landscapes and portraits of the local people. We start in Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, where we explore the famous Mughal Gardens, take a shikhara ride on the Dal Lake, and capture the vibrant life of the local people. From Srinagar, we search for nomadic camps to capture the people's daily life and culture. We also visit Sonamarg, a picturesque town known for its stunning views of the peaks of the Himalayas. Next, we cross the Zogila pass and visit the remote Zanskar region, where we capture the dramatic landscapes, ancient monasteries, and unique way of local life. We spend a full day exploring Leh, then conclude with a visit to Padum and Karsha Monastery, where we will immerse ourselves in the area’s ancient Buddhist culture. The tour will be led by Ashfaq Rah, a native of Kashmir who is not only a seasoned photographer but also a second-generation tour operator with a deep understanding of the culture, history, and traditions of the region.
